Where are the plateles!

A big happening as the Permatang Pauh election is no longer a preffered issue when your loved ones' condition has swayed from recovery condition back to critical. She experienced a fit yesterday morning due to her low platelet count. Twice to be exact. The doctor suspected that the sepsis has spread to her brain and ordered a CT Scan. The result has revealed that there has been bleeding in her brain, the fact that we were all praying wouldn't happen. As for now, the doctor is giving her sedation for at least 48 hours to help her body ease a bit and to prevent her from any convulsion to protect her brain. This is because everytime she experience a fit, it will restrict the flow of oxygen to the brain. A prolong condition as such can cause shrinking to the brain.

On another note, the IV IG which was suppose to give her antibodies and also increase her plateletes level didn't turn out to be the solution for her. Her plateles count still didn't show any signs or increasing, remaining at 9,000. Whereas a normal person should be around 150,000 - 450,000 platelets per microliter (x 10–6/Liter) of blood! Now the doctor are trying to give her platelets product to increase the plateles in her blood. Hopefully this would be the solution for her as the doctors in the renal ICU tried the best they can to see her come back to recovery.

We recite Yaasin before we went to bed last night praying that Allah gives her strength and courage to fight the disease. Moga Allah sembuhkan beliau, Amin.
