Abang Long is The Incredible Hulk!

Ni la keje Danish every Wednesday night while the three of us wait for Honey's class to dismiss in Precint8 Putrajaya. There's this one toy that he really get fascinates of. It's the hand of the incredible hulk where you can put your two hands in it, like a boxing glove. The best part is every time the two hands box into each other or if you punch them, there's the hulk's amused voice screaming and grunting. "Arghhh You don't like hulk when hulk is angry..." well those kinda stuffs. So while doing the 2-hours waiting in Alamanda, every week on Wednesdays, Danish will pick up the same toy and play with it in the trolley over and over again while I carry little Iman with the carrier. And hey, it helps keep abang long busy while waiting for Ibu. And that's good news for Ayah Hehe...

The Million Dollar Man!

2 years ago, I represented my company and attended the Medtronic Physio-Control International Distributor meeting in Hainan Island in the beautiful republic of China. The main objective was to push LIFEPAK20 Defibrillator/Monitor into the cardiac and critical care areas for hospitals throughout Malaysia.

After I came back, I propposed the system to both HUKM and also the National Heart Centre. Spents lots of late nights revising those paper work and proposal! Not to forget countless of technical meeting as well as running up and down the stairs chasing appoinments with their Head of Cardiac, Anes people as well as the CEOs. The result : last year in August, HUKM bought the system amounting to a stunning RM570K! An RM570K to mark my career at Cybron, and so I thought.

Last 2 months I received a call from one of the Datuk in NHA. Let me address him as Datuk A. He wanted me to come over and see him. I was clueless since I wasn't really expect anything since all this while there were a lot of difficulties especially when it comes to the key decision makers. Convincing them is one thing. For them to decide and finalize things is another thing. Although we did successfully convinced them with our system and kinda made our competitor look bad and less reliable (sorry guys!), looking at the situation during that time, there were no way our system is gonna be integrated in the near couple of month. But still, deep down inside I was whispering my prayers and keeping my fingers crossed.

I was 10 minutes early for the meeting with Datuk A. He was engaged on the phone while he gestured me to enter his room. Last thing I know, Datuk A handed me a stack of paper with the word CONFIDENTIAL on it. Damn, it was the PO! An astonishing RM1.5 million PO from the National Heart Centre!!! Sigh, looks like I can finally rest a bit and look ahead for a shinny 2008.

Alhamdulillah, hard work pays in the end.

Hanum Beransur Pulih

'Sesungguhnya Allah S.W.T tidak menurunkan sesuatu penyakit itu melainkan diiringi dengan penawarnya' dan juga sabda Rasulullah S.A.W. yang bermaksud:
"Bagi Setiap penyakit ada ubatnya, maka apabila ubat itu sesuai untuk sesuatu penyakit, ia akan sembuh dengan izin Allah Azza Wajalla".

Alhamdulillah, Hanum dah semakin pulih. Dengan perubahan yang ketara berbanding dari first mula2 berubat dulu diharapnya Hanum pulih sepenuhnya.

Saat2 camni, semangat dan sokongan family terutamanya mak dan jugak adik beradik banyak membantu untuk Hanum pulih sepenuhnya. May take some time tapi dengan izin Allah, tiada benda yang mustahil. Insya Allah.

Umrah on 13th

Alhamdulillah dan insya Allah, 13 Ogos ni Mummy & Ha akan berangkat ke tanah suci Mekah untuk menunaikan ibadah umrah selama 13 hari bersama Yaskin Travel. Selamat beribadah dan moga Mum & Ha selamat pergi dan selamat kembali, Amin.

Yang lagi bangganya, penganugerahan ijazah dan diploma disampaikan sendiri oleh Tan Sri Khalid Ibrahim, MB Selangor. Tahniah bro. Dah boleh kawin dah tuu!...

Langkawi here we come

It was suppose to be an emotional trip due to the fact that my late father-in-law's wish was to take mum-in-law to all the places that he has been during his outstation during his working days; unable to do so during those days. The fact that he did mention in particular Langkawi kinda urged me and Honey to arrange this special trip and bring along mum-in-law in tribute to him. Mum-in-law was in tears when we broke her the news. Speechless I guess. But later as the date for the trip came nearer as a matter of fact, we were the one speechless realizing the fact that she couldn't join us; taking care of sis Hanum who was just discharged from the hospital. We couldn't cancel the flight either since everything was all paid in advance. Looks like we have to make it without her then. Too bad.
Danish was excited, as always!

After flying for about an-hour, there we landed on the bare earth of Langkawi.

Check in kat Kondo Istana Langkawi. Memang excited habis mamat ni sampai beg pon nak tarik sendiri. Makes me look like a cruel dad or something making him pull his own bag!

Baru je lepas check-in nak menuju ke bilik, kitorang terpaksa lalu depan swimming pool. Danish was soooo excited to see the pool n tak sabar2 nak mandi. Pantang jumpa air budak ni. Cam ibu dia gak la... kembor ayor... whatever that means...
