Hanum : The Diagnosis

The doctor had suspected that there is something wrong with her kidney causing her hands, feet and face to be puffy. They had performed a CT Scan which result has revealed that both of her kidney had actually shrinken a bit. They had taken some blood test and urine test to properly diagnose her condition. The will also most probably refer her to HKL where they have more expert in nephrotic departments and may also perform a kidney biopsy over there.

The kidneys are our body's natural filtration system. They perform the critical task of processing approximately 200 quarts of fluid in the bloodstream every 24 hours. Waste products like urea and toxins, along with excess fluids, are removed from the bloodstream in the form of urine. Kidney (or renal) failure occurs when kidney functioning becomes impaired. Fluids and toxins begin to accumulate in the bloodstream. As fluids build up in the bloodstream, the patient with acute kidney failure may become puffy and swollen (edematous) in the face, hands, and feet. Their blood pressure typically begins to rise, and they may experience fatigue and nausea.

Hopefully with proper treatment, Hanum's disease whatever they may call it can be cured. Insya allah.

Hanum Warded

Adik iparku Airyz Hanum warded to Hospital Ampang today. Hopefully it's nothing serious. We are taking the 9.30 flight back to KL from Kota Bharu.

Now Everyone Can Fly

Well, well, well... that is obviously the AirAsia tagline eh? We were in the car on our way back from Tesco the other day when Danish pointed his fingers up in the sky, his eyes full of excitement. "Ayah, Ibu... aeroplane la... Nanti kita naik aeroplane eh ayah?". I just looked at honey with a smile and replied, "Ok".

Later that night while I was waiting for the news on air, an add kinda captured my attention.

Next thing I know, I had booked a 3D2N trip back to our hometown in KB. Danish was sooo excited about the whole thing that he promised to show his nicest behavior in the house as well as when he is around with Little Iman. And true, one and 2 days before our flight, he was acting like an angle!

It was a good deal for everyone I guess. For me & Honey, we get to meet Babah, Mummy and adik2 kat kampung. As for Danish, he gets to experience his so-called first flight although he already did fly before. Sian anak ayah. (I think he was too small to recall after all. Twice when he was small and twice when he was in Ibu's tummy!)

Al-Fatihah - Pak Jib (Datuk Saudara)

Pak Jib iaitu datuk saudara aku telah kembali ke rahmatullah pada hari ini setelah 2 tahun terlantar sakit. Semoga roh arwah ditempatkan di kalangan mereka yang beriman hendaknya, Amin.

Al-Fatihah Buat Ayahanda Hj Ahmad B Ismail

Hari ini 18 Jun 2008, genap setahun pemergian ayahanda Hj Ahmad Bin Ismail. Looking at things, it still feels strange living the days without him although it's already been a year after his death.

Semoga Allah merahmati roh mu Ayahanda.

Pada hari ini pukul 5.55pm, Bin iaitu nenek Honey, Zaliha Binti Mat Amin telah menghembuskan nafasnya yang terakhir disebabkan sakit tua pada umur 76 tahun. Semoga rohnya dirahmati Allah, Amin.
